Understanding Birmingham Airport Drop-Off Fees: A Complete Guide

There are two places that you can drop-off or pickup passengers at Birmingham Airport.
1) Premium Set Down at Birmingham International Airport.
This is our main drop-off and pickup place, it is right in front of the terminal and gives you access to both doors for A (Jet2) and other airlines at the B-H door. It is quick and convenient, but it costs £5 for 15 minutes. Most of our customers prefer to be dropped off there.

We use this area for pickups as well. We track your flight, contact you on landing and then ask you to text when you have your baggage. We will then swing into the Premium Set Down area to pick you up.
We have seen other taxi drivers at the Premium Set Down at Birmingham making their clients load the parking ticket machine up with pound coins!
We believe that your journey should start from your front door, you don’t want to worry about having the right change, so the charge is included when we quote you the fee.
2) Free Drop-Off at Birmingham International Airport.
There is a free area where passengers can be dropped off and picked up. This will be the where you get set down if you book a taxi from one of the app based operators. It is free, but it is also a walk from the terminal. The airport says allow ten minutes, but that’s dependent if you are going up or down the hill with cases!

So the choice is yours, but when it comes to comparing prices, please remember to ask where you are going to be dropped or picked up. It makes a big difference.
